Tokusatsu Music Trivia

Kamen Rider Stronger

The song "Miyo! Kamen Rider Stronga" was originally slated to be the opening song for Kamen Rider Stronga, but was replaced in favour of "Kamen Rider Stronga no uta". Just like the first ending song for the series, "Miyo! Kamen Rider Stronga" has two versions. Furthermore, "Miyo! Kamen Rider Stronga" had not been released until several years
later.

Power Rangers

The version of Power Rangers shown in Japan included two new ending songs. Both in Japanese and done exclusively for the Japanese edition.

Aba Ranger

Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger is the first Sentai series to feature a song by each of the main characters.

Turbo Ranger

Kenta Satou starred in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger as Red Turbo. He also sang both of the series themes and much of the song collection. Interestingly enough, he returned in 1992 to sing the opening theme to Kyouryu Sentai Zyuranger despite having nothing to do with the series.

Gingaman

The singer of both Seiju Sentai Gingaman themes (and their english versions) is listed as "Ryou Kisao". Ryou Kisao is actually famous singer Masato Shimon! A theory on why he changed his name may have to do with his retirement in 1993 (five years before Gingaman).
