Kamen Rider VS Ultraman

A few years ago I came across a tape from a friend on it was labeled the Ultraman story and Ultraman vs. Kamen Rider. I don't understand Japanese very well but after watching an unsubtitled Japanese tape a couple of times I can get an idea of what's going on.

In the beginning of the short film it shows some children playing at a playground and one kid is playing with a Kamen Rider 1 and another is playing with an ultraman figure. the announcer begins to speak about what if these two hero's were to fight each other. Who would win? and it goes to a scene of the city and the two in their popular poses. Kamen Rider and Ultraman leap in the air ready to kick each other and tthen they freeze in the air and the title in a very flashy way appears

It was to my understanding that the original tape shows information of each Rider and ultra up to Ultraman Powered and Kamen Rider Black RX but the tape I have was recorded off of another tape so I assume that My friend didn't want that information and wanted to go to the good part. Anyway on with the story.

We first see an unfamilar giant monster attacking the city and then it switches to a monster known as scorpion man terroizing some people in a parking garage. In the next sceen we get to see the two heroes transform using old footage from the original shows. We see Ultraman fighting the giant monster and the two seem to be equally matched. Below Kamen Rider is fighting Scorpion man and they are equally matched until the two monsters are in the same area and the two fuse into an even more powerful monster and Ultraman is in trouble.

Kamen Rider gets on his motorcycle and leaps in the air. He jumps off his cycle and grows as big as Ultraman and the two work together to defeat this hideous fusion. Ultraman charges his buzzsaw like cutter beam and slices the monster's tail into pieces. The creature gets really mad and starts firing bolts of energy, Ultraman quickly counters with an energy shield protecting both our heroes. Kamen Rider leaps in the air and does a Rider punch knocking off the creatures glowing horn and the two do their signature finishing moves The Specium Beam and the Rider kick making the creature explode into monster chunks.

The two then shake hands and the announcer says "Thank you Ultraman, thank you Kamen rider." and the two go off into the sunset. Just before the credits it shows Kamen rider doing an Ultraman pose and Ultraman on Kamen Riders bike with the Science patrol logo on it instead of The Rider logo. As the credits roll we see action shots of all the Riders and Ultras from the beginning up to as recent as I stated before. In my opinion it was a great short film. Getting to see the two heroes fight together was very exiting. The whole film was all new except for the old footage of their transformations. I highly suggest this for anyone who likes both Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
