Kamen Rider Kuuga Non-Album Tracks
Kage

Introduction

Kamen Rider Kuuga had two song collections, yet these songs have no home on either. So, I've put together this mini-review of the seven tracks that didn't make the cut. In order by the single that they were on and when that single was released. Each song will be reviewed individually.

Kamen Rider Kuuga
CD Review: CODC-1895
2000 Nippon Columbia

01. Bara no Okite (Single Version)
>> The music in this version is identical to the "Desudesu" album version. The only difference here is that the lyrics are sung instead of being spoken. To be perfectly honest, this version is much better even if the singing isn't all that wonderful. The music in this song was made for singing.

02. Purple Pride
>> See Song Collection 1

03. Bara no Okite (Karaoke)

04. Purple Pride (Karaoke)

Odagiri Joe
CD Review: CODC-1924
2000 Nippon Columbia

01. "t"
>> I've always had a weird thing for this song since it's quite absurd and kind of funny sounding. There is a slew of outside sounds in this song like clicks and the sound of things moving around...so this jazzy little song sounds like it was done pretty much improv. This song is an absolute love or hate.

02. Sora e Tobu Toki
>> Joe Odagiri singing in engrish. This song isn't entirely bad. The music is pretty good. It's basically your slow commercial song, but it is very catchy and the music gets progressively better. Ignore the engrish and let the music take control of your ears.

03. Sora e Tobu Toki (Remix)
>> This remix isn't half bad. It's slow and has alot of bass. The lyrics seem a little disconnected, but this track is three fourths the fun of the original.

04. "t" (Plugged)
>> Now THIS is the money song of the single. It's as if the first version of "t" got a shower, shave and a business suit. Now it's gone to work. This is such a cool song, let alone cover of a whacked out, but neat original.

Bricks
CD Review: CODC-1935
2000 Nippon Columbia

01. Carry On
>> This is a nice little song. It has a steady pace and keeps moving as the lyrics gently creep into place. The wobbly noise at the beginning makes for a nice entrance. Good stuff.

02. Yuuki wo Kureta Hito e
>> This song is much slower than the previous track, but it's a very nice song. It is pretty long, which might explain why there isn't a Karaoke of it. It's a nice melody that gently flows off the disc.

03. Carry On (Karaoke)
