What is it About?

A one player platform/action game in which you take control of each member of Zyu Ranger as he/she tackles their own individual stages.

How Good is it?

Remember that episode of Zyu Ranger where all they did was run from left to right collecting coins and challenging Bandora's henchmen to a round of sudden death pong? Or maybe the one where Dragon Ceaser challenged the monster version of Ami to a game of hot potato with a deadly bomb? Neither can I but that's what this game is based on.

This game is pretty average, but not a total disaser. As you progress through the various locales it will get more challenging to collect coins because each stage will be larger and require more exploration on the player's part. The boss for each area will also be a little bit more difficult than the preceding one making it more difficul to get to every stage of the game. The minigames are pretty easy though and should not be a problem for anyone to get through.

The graphics are pretty good for the NES and the game even features some larger cinema scenes (granted that they are not animated at all) that liven things up a little. The sounds are average and the music is very poor, although the rendition of the Zyu Ranger opening theme at the start screen is pretty neat.

My Opinion:

Should you get this game? Not unless you are a super die-hard Zyu Ranger fan and want to see what it would be like to play pong against the Dragon Ranger.
