Other Information:
Eldest son of the Martial Arts actor Sho Kosugi (real name Kosugi Shoichi). Mother is Shook Keichin. Has a younger brother Shane Kosugi and a sister Ayeesha Erisa.

Has Blackbelt Degrees in Karate, Kendo, Judo, Kobudo, and Tae Kwon Do. Has also trained in gymnastics and Wu Shu.

By age four, he had earned a black belt in Karate and spent the next four years winning thirty-eight titles in tournaments such as the Los Angeles Karate Open Tournament and the California Open Karate Tournament. Has won a whopping hundred and seventy-six trophies in various Martial Arts competitions.

Made is film debut at the age of six in “Enter The Ninja” (1982).

Moved with his father and brother Shane to Japan after High School.

While in the beginning his Japanese was not very good (as evident in his stint in “Kaku Ranger”), he has since become fairly fluent.

Provided the voice for the character of Ryu in Street Fighter Zero.

Also provided the Motion Capturing for the character of Onikage in the Sony Playstation Game “Tenchu: Stealth Assassins" (1998).
